Nanami Mukai
I’m a photographer from Japan, born in Hokkaido, the northernmost island, and raised in Chiba Prefecture. My love for photography sparked in high school, and I’ve been capturing moments ever since.
I’ve always enjoyed shooting photos, but the loss of my dog was a turning point for me. It made me realize how easily we take our time with loved ones for granted. I wish I had captured more of our everyday moments together. This experience taught me that every moment—whether ordinary or extraordinary—is fleeting and precious. Now, I’m dedicated to helping others preserve all the moments that matter to them.
A little about me: I’m an avid traveler, so if I’m not behind the camera, I’m probably exploring somewhere new. I love to stay active, whether it’s dancing, hiking, or practicing yoga.
I see myself as adventurous, open-minded, and curious. I thrive on learning about new things and cultures, and I’d be delighted to share a piece of Japanese culture with you while getting to know yours!
